Working as A Civil Servant

The moment when being occupied as a civil servant in one of the East Java rural cities makes our family really proud of me. Yes, this is what i really want but why i do not feel the same euphoria like my mom and dad. Just so so that how i describe that moment. At that time, i have  no idea why i finally work at this rural city. Many questions i ask to myself. Why i should take this, why i should choose this city, why i should work here. Those are maybe the silly questions because i already chose and decided this after i had consulted to my parents. In July, there's no a proper choice actually for me to join in civil servant test. I had to work only around in East Java or even in Sidoarjo or Surabaya. It is because of my parents. I am the only son and child in my family. So, i also consider my parents when i work far from my parents. The options when i joined the test were only two cities, Sampang or Banyuwangi. After i had a discussion with my dad, i finally had Sampang as my destination for the civil servant test. 

Most wise people  said that life is all about the moments. The happiness, worry, sadness were all mixed into one. I did not know what to do when i realized i first have to leave my hometown. Okay, that's just my real feeling about the moment of being accepted as a civil servant. The story i shared in this blog i have no intention of being arrogant because of this job. In opposite, i just feel so so. Let me go on this story.

I joined in public relation section, Regional Secretary (setda), i would apply all what i learned in college but it is all just bullsh**t. It's all fake. What it was written on BKD web about the job description i applied first was just the camouflage. Now, i work is not what it already specified. I worked just like a slave. My position according to SK (letter of appointment) is far from what i work now. So, there is much differences between my SK and my work. It can be concluded that i do not work based on my SK and i do not work based on my specification. So, is it called as professional recruitment from BKN or BKD. I am confused how i should conduct my job. BKN especially BKD should be responsible of this. I work like a slave not based on my education qualification or even my skill. Everyone who wants to apply the annual civil servant test should be careful about the job description announced and the job description after accepted as a civil servant. 

I do hope this problem can solved well and wisely. There must be the evaluation from BKN especially BKD. Otherwise, we as a civil servant work not based on our specification then it is called as a professional civil servant?
